It is used for heart-related chest pain (angina), abnormal heart rhythms, and chronic (long-term) heart failure. It is also used to prevent heart failure and reduce the risk of death in patients with heart failure.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Metofid AM 5 mg/50 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
