It is used to treat deficiency of vitamin B12 in the body. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. It also helps to treat anemia, fatigue, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet.

How should Methex 1500mcg Injection be administered?
Methex 1500mcg Injection can be administered directly into a vein (intravenously) or intramuscularly. The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Methex 1500mcg Injection), given three times a week. After two months, 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Methex 1500mcg Injection) may be given every one to three months as part of long-term maintenance therapy.
What precautions should be taken when administering Methex 1500mcg Injection?
To prevent complications, avoid injecting in the same location repeatedly. If pain is intense or blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different site.
