The course of the medicine should be completed even if you feel better. The common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, vertigo, etc. You may also experience injection site redness, swelling, and pain that goes away with time. If any of the side effects get aggravated, you must consult your doctor immediately. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.

Metacef-TC Injection is a combination of two medicines: Ceftazidime and Tobramycin. Ceftazidime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Tobramycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively.

Metacef-TC Injection is given as a drip or injection into veins under the supervision of a doctor. Do not skip any dose and finish the course as suggested by the doctor. It is advisable to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water to overcome medicine side effects. Discontinue Metacef-TC Injection and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Inform your doctor if you experience any hearing loss, a sensation of ringing in the ears, or dizziness and unsteadiness.
