Mesolit Injection is used to prevent ifosfamide-induced hemorrhagic cystitis (bleeding in the bladder) under the supervision of a doctor.

Mesolit Injection is given under the supervision of a doctor. The dose and duration of the treatment vary based on your need and response to treatment. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.

It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Mesolit Injection. Please consult your doctor.
Mesolit Injection is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
Mesolit Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Mesolit Injection helps to reduce the risk of inflammation and bleeding in the bladder who receive ifosfamide (a medicine used to treat cancer).
Mesolit Injection is given as an injection or infusion under the supervision of a doctor only. Do not skip any dose and complete the course as suggested by your doctor. It is advisable to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated while taking this medicine. Your doctor may get a regular urine and blood tests done to monitor your blood cell count (CBC).
