Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection.
Bitter taste in the mouth after intake Diarrhea Itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulty (stop immediately and report to the doctor)
Men-CV Dry Syrup is an antibiotic. It has two active agents amoxycillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxycillin works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) essential for the survival of the bacteria. Whereas clavulanic acid serves a special purpose of inhibiting an enzyme (beta-lactamase) that is produced by resistant bacteria.
Complete the entire course of antibiotics Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops Never give Men-CV Dry Syrup until and unless prescribed by the doctor Do not give Men-CV Dry Syrup to treat common cold and flu-like symptoms caused by viruses Check 'expiry' before giving Men-CV Dry Syrup to your child

Antibiotics generally do not interfere with vaccine ingredients or cause adverse reactions in children who are recently vaccinated. However, it's essential for children to recover from their illness before receiving vaccines. Once your child feels better, the vaccine can be administered.
Periodically, when the therapy is prolonged, the doctor might assess kidney and liver function during follow-up to monitor your child's condition.
Giving a higher than prescribed dose of this medicine can increase risks of side effects. If your child experiences an increased severity of symptoms, consult your doctor for re-evaluation.

Yellow or green nasal discharge does not necessarily indicate a bacterial infection. It is normal for mucus to thicken and change color during a common cold, and the symptoms often subside in 7-10 days.
Seek immediate medical care if your child experiences serious allergic reactions (breathing difficulties, skin rashes), gastrointestinal issues (diarrhea and/or vomiting) or liver damage (weakness, paleness, dark urine). Though rare, these side effects warrant expert intervention.
