Introduction

Melonex Plus 5mg/150mg (Pet) Injection is given by a doctor or a nurse. You should not self-administer this at home. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, indigestion, stomach pain, and diarrhea. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Melonex Plus 5mg/150mg (Pet) Injection is a combination of two medicines: Meloxicam and Paracetamol which relieve pain. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

You have been given Melonex Plus 5mg/150mg (Pet) Injection to relieve pain and inflammation. Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking Melonex Plus 5mg/150mg (Pet) Injection. Drink plenty of water while taking Melonex Plus 5mg/150mg (Pet) Injection. Inform your doctor if you have or ever had ulcers in your stomach or intestines. Inform your doctor if you are planning to have an operation (even a minor one such as tooth extraction) since Melonex Plus 5mg/150mg (Pet) Injection might increase the risk of bleeding.
