Megplace H 2mg Tablet is a female sex hormone (estrogen) used as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to treat symptoms associated with menopause such as hot flushes, vaginal dryness, and itching. It also addresses estrogen deficiency and helps in preventing osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. The most common side effects include headaches, breast pain, irregular vaginal bleeding, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, and hair loss. It is important to consult a doctor before starting this medication, especially if there is a history of unexplained vaginal bleeding or blood clots. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also seek medical advice before use.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Megplace H 2mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

It may increase the risk of breast cancer. Have regular breast examinations. Stop taking this medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you notice unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain, or changes in vision. These could be symptoms of a blood clot in a vein.
