Chloramphenicol Orlistat
Megaphage 1500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems.
Megaphage 1500mcg Injection contains vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient that plays a vital role in red blood cell formation and maintaining a healthy nervous system. It also assists in energy release from food, utilizing vitamin B11 (folic acid).
Getting vitamin B12 from dietary sources like meat, fish, eggs and dairy products is generally possible. However, vegetarians or vegans may experience difficulties getting enough as vitamin B12 is not naturally present in plant-based foods. This can lead to a deficiency of vitamin B12.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can cause fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss and megaloblastic anemia (an abnormal increase in red blood cells). It can also lead to nerve problems such as numbness and tingling in the hands and feet. Other symptoms include difficulty with balance, depression, confusion, dementia, poor memory, mouth or tongue soreness.
Megaphage 1500mcg Injection is typically well-tolerated and considered safe. However, in rare cases, potential side effects include nausea, diarrhea, anorexia and rash. If a rash appears, discontinue use immediately.
Megaphage 1500mcg Injection can be injected directly into a vein (intravenously) or muscle (intramuscularly). The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Megaphage 1500mcg Injection) and is administered three times per week. After two months, the dose is adjusted to 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Megaphage 1500mcg Injection) every one to three months as part of long-term maintenance therapy.
Avoid injecting at the same site repeatedly. If injection causes intense pain or backflow, withdraw the needle and re-inject at a different location.
