Introduction

Mefudic Tablet is a prescription medicine that should be taken with or without food, but at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. It is a combination of three medicines: furazolidone, metronidazole, and dicyclomine. It may cause side effects such as nausea, headaches, metallic taste, dryness of mouth, etc. To overcome these side effects, it is advised to eat a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of fluid. If any of the side effects get aggravated, contact your doctor immediately. If you experience any allergic reaction, you must consult your doctor immediately.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Mefudic Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It may cause dizziness. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how Mefudic Tablet affects you. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. It is advisable to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water to overcome medicine side effects.
