Meditears Eye Drop is an eye lubricant or artificial tears used to relieve dry eyes by maintaining proper lubrication of the eyes.

Meditears Eye Drop is usually taken when needed. Use the number of drops as advised by your doctor. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering any other medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Do not use a bottle if the seal is broken before you open it. Always wash your hands and do not touch the end of the dropper. This could infect your eye. This medicine may require long-term use and can be taken safely for as long as you need it.
This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Meditears Eye Drop is a lubricant. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.
Your doctor has prescribed Meditears Eye Drop to treat dry eye disease. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution of this medicine. Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 minutes. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer. Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.

It may also be used to lubricate and re-wet soft and rigid gas permeable contact lenses. The medication can help reduce dryness, irritation, and discomfort that may occur during lens wear.
Possible side effects of Meditears Eye Drop include visual disturbances, eye discharge, and potential medication residue. Other side effects might involve redness in the eyes, eye irritation, burning sensation or discomfort, eyelid swelling, and itching of the eye. If any of these reactions persist, contact your doctor immediately.
Store Meditears Eye Drop at or below 25°C and out of reach of children. Do not touch the tip of the container to any surface, and replace the cap after each use. The medication should also not be used after the expiry date or 30 days after opening the container.
If you are using it for dry eyes, instil 1 or 2 drops in each affected eye as needed. If you are using it to lubricate soft and rigid gas-permeable contact lenses, apply 1 to 2 drops in each eye with the lenses on, as required, or as directed by your doctor. Blink several times after applying the drops.
