Mediderm Cream is a prescription medicine used to treat skin infections. It is a combination of Betamethasone and Gentamicin. Betamethasone is a steroid that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers that make the affected area red, swollen, and itchy. Gentamicin is an antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions. It should be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. It is for external use only and should be applied only in the affected area.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.
