It is used to treat deficiency of vitamin B12 in the body. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. It also helps to treat anemia, fatigue, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet.

How should Mecosar 500mcg Injection be given?
Mecosar 500mcg Injection can be administered intravenously (directly into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle). The usual dose is one ampoule (0.5 mg of Mecosar 500mcg injection), and it's given three times per week. After two months, one ampoule (0.5 mg of Mecosar 500mcg injection) is administered every one to three months as part of long-term treatment.
What precautions need to be taken while administering Mecosar 500mcg Injection?
When administering Mecosar 500mcg Injection, avoid injecting in the same area repeatedly. If you experience severe pain during injection or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different site.
