It also helps to treat anemia, fatigue, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet.

How should Mecomed 1000mcg Injection be given?
Mecomed 1000mcg Injection can be administered into a vein (intravenously) or muscle (intramuscularly). The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Mecomed 1000mcg Injection), and it's given three times a week. After two months, 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Mecomed 1000mcg Injection) is administered every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken when administering Mecomed 1000mcg Injection?
Avoid injecting the medication at the same site each time. If there's significant pain during injection or blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert it at a different location.
