How should Mecomax 1500mcg Injection be given?
Mecomax 1500mcg Injection can be administered intravenously (directly into the vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle). The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Mecomax 1500mcg Injection), and it's given 3 times a week. After two months, 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Mecomax 1500mcg Injection) is administered every one to three months as part of ongoing maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken when administering Mecomax 1500mcg Injection?
Avoid injecting at the same site repeatedly. If experiencing intense pain during injection or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different location.
