How should Mecodem 1000mcg Injection be given?
Mecodem 1000mcg Injection can be administered either intravenously or intramuscularly. The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Mecodem 1000mcg) and it's administered three times a week. After two months, 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Mecodem 1000mcg Injection) is given every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken while administering Mecodem 1000mcg Injection?
It's important not to inject the medication at the same site every time. If you experience intense pain or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different location.
