Introduction
Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. How it works
Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Silodosin and Solifenacin. Silodosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. Solifenacin is an antimuscarinic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder to prevent frequent, urgent, or uncontrolled urination.

Drinks containing caffeine (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cola) may make your symptoms worse. This is because caffeine is a natural diuretic and will make you want to pass urine frequently. If you drink a lot of caffeine, consider switching to decaffeinated alternatives. If you are scheduled to undergo eye surgery due to a cataract or glaucoma, inform your eye doctor that you are taking this medicine. Avoid the intake of excess fluid towards the bedtime since your sleep might get disturbed by the desire to get up and go to the toilet. Maxvoid S 8mg/5mg Tablet helps in relieving the symptoms of enlarged prostate. You might feel better within hours or days of starting the treatment. The full effect is usually seen within 2 weeks.
