Maxoclar 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. It is effective against a wide range of bacterial infections, including those caused by H. pylori. It is taken orally, preferably one hour before or two hours after a meal, and should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, abnormal taste, indigestion, abdominal pain, headache, vomiting, and rash. These side effects are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Maxoclar 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid taking it with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats, and some types of beer.
