How should Matibal Plus 1500mcg Injection be given?
Matibal Plus 1500mcg Injection can be administered intravenously (into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle). The usual dose is 0.5 mg of Matibal Plus 1500mcg Injection, and it's given 3 times a week. After two months, the dose is reduced to 0.5 mg every one to three months as part of maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken while administering Matibal Plus 1500mcg Injection?
Do not inject in the same site repeatedly, and if you experience intense pain or blood flows back into the syringe, withdraw the needle and re-insert at a different location.
