Materna CC 50mg Tablet is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) used to treat female infertility in women who are unable to become pregnant due to ovulation problems or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It works by promoting the release of reproductive hormones, which helps stimulate the release of eggs from the ovary (ovulation).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Materna CC 50mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Materna CC 50mg Tablet promotes the release of reproductive hormones so it is used in women who cannot get pregnant because they are not ovulating or have a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome. It is not safe for long-term use. Hence it is advisable not to use it for more than 3 menstrual cycles. It may cause blurring of vision. Be cautious while driving or doing anything requiring mental focus. It may cause abdominal pain and distention, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and weight gain. Inform your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms. It may cause ovulation after 5-10 days. It is advisable to have regular intercourse during this period.
