Introduction

Mariliv-DS Oral Suspension is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.

Mariliv-DS Oral Suspension is a combination of two medicines: Silymarin and Tricholine Citrate. Silymarin is an antioxidant which works by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals). Tricholine Citrate is a bile acid binding agent. It removes bile acids from the body. The liver then produces more bile acids using cholesterol as a result the levels of cholesterol in the body is lowered.

Mariliv-DS Oral Suspension is used for the treatment of fatty liver disease and helps in its proper functioning. Your doctor may monitor your liver function and bilirubin levels regularly. Avoid smoking and drinking as it further degrades liver functioning. Keep sipping water or have sugar-free gum in order to relieve dryness in the mouth. Take a healthy diet and exercise regularly.
