Mahagesic Plus Tablet should be taken with food to prevent upset stomach. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Mahagesic Plus Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Famotidine which relieve pain and fever. Diclofenac and Paracetamol work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Famotidine is an H2 blocker (type of antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps to get relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Do not take any other medicines containing Paracetamol in it without consulting your doctor. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). Drink plenty of water while taking Mahagesic Plus Tablet. If you have asthma symptoms such as wheeze or breathlessness might become worse by Mahagesic Plus Tablet. If this happens to you, consult your doctor immediately.
