Take Macrolax Oral Solution as directed by the physician. For constipation, an adult can consume up to 1 sachet per day. For fecal impaction, take at least 8 sachets within 6 hours every day.

The oral solution contains polyethylene glycol, which exerts an osmotic effect on the gut, mediating a laxative effect. The sodium chloride helps regulate cation regulation and fluid balance, while the sodium bicarbonate neutralizes gastric acid.
