Introduction

The Accurex Lysun Lipid Meter Test Strip is a dry chemistry test strip used to measure lipid concentrations in whole blood, plasma, and serum. It is used to diagnose and treat atherosclerotic coronary artery disease and metabolic disorders involving lipids and lipoproteins. The test strip uses a timed-endpoint method to measure the concentrations of total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and triglycerides.

Insert the code chip into the meter and code the meter correctly. Remove the test strip from the test strip canister or foil pouch and insert it into the test strip channel. Prepare the specimen to be tested and apply 35μL of the specimen to the specimen application area of the test strip. Read the results on the screen in 2 minutes.

The test strip uses a timed-endpoint method to measure the concentrations of total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and triglycerides. The concentration of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol is calculated by the values of total cholesterol, triglycerides, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol.
