Introduction

Lymed Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lymed Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Lymed Tablet is a combination of four medicines. Trypsin Chymotrypsin is an enzyme that works by breaking down proteins into smaller fragments, thereby making them available for absorption into the blood. Once absorbed, it increases blood supply in the affected area and reduces swelling. Bromelain is an enzyme obtained from pineapple juice that causes the body to produce substances that fight pain and swelling (inflammation). Rutoside is a plant pigment that helps to reduce pain. Papain is an enzyme that works by increasing blood supply and helping the body produce substances that fight pain and swelling.

You have been prescribed this combination medicine for relieving pain and swelling. Do not take it with any other pain medicine without asking your doctor first. It may increase the severity of your condition at the start of treatment. Continue using it as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor may regularly monitor your kidney function, liver function, and levels of blood components if you are taking this medicine for long-term treatment.
