It is important to keep using this medicine even if you do not notice any symptoms because it is preventing future harm. If you stop taking it, you could get a blood clot. While taking this medicine you should avoid doing things that increase your risk of bleeding or injury.

Inform your doctor if there is bleeding from gums, nose or wounds that lasts more than 15 minutes or if blood appears in your urine, stool or vomit. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor.
Lupenox 40mg Injection is administered subcutaneously. After preparing a skin fold on your stomach using your finger and thumb, clean the area with soap and water. Hold the syringe like a pencil and inject the full length of the needle into the skin fold. Do not force the injection if you encounter resistance. Dispose of the syringe as instructed by your prescribing physician. Follow all instructions provided by your healthcare provider strictly.
