Keep your feet clean and dry, particularly between the toes. Cut your nails short and prefer open-toe shoes for everyday use. Use a separate clean towel for the feet and wear clean cotton socks. Never share your socks, shoes, and towel with others. Apply an amount sufficient to cover the affected area and 1 inch of the immediate surrounding skin. It can take a few weeks for the infection to clear and a few months before the skin returns to its normal color. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is not taken orally so it does not cause many side effects. Avoid getting it in the eyes, nose, or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Inform your doctor if the infection has not cleared up after four weeks of treatment.
Lulilok Cream should not be used during pregnancy due to a lack of safety data. Consult your doctor for guidance on potential benefits and risks to your unborn baby if necessary.
Lulilok Cream exhibits fungicidal properties by inhibiting the growth of fungi. It achieves this through a reduction in ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, thus exhibiting its antifungal activity.
Apply Lulilok Cream exactly as directed by your doctor. For athlete's foot between the toes: apply a thin layer to affected skin areas and spread it over at least 1 inch of surrounding skin. Use once daily for two weeks. For jock itch or ringworm, apply to affected skin areas and cover at least 1 inch of surrounding skin. Use once daily for one week. Always wash your hands after application.
Lulilok Cream's duration of effect varies depending on the ailment. For athlete's foot between the toes, results typically appear four weeks after treatment, while some may require up to six weeks. For jock itch and ringworm, results are usually seen in three weeks with a potential for up to four weeks.
