Introduction

Lubrifem gel contains glycerol, a moisturizer that works by forming an oily layer on the top of the skin, trapping water in the skin. It is used to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations, such as diaper rash and skin burns from radiation therapy. Glycerol is also used to soften and moisturize the skin, decreasing itching and flaking.

Use under medical supervision.
