Keep your feet clean and dry, particularly between the toes. Cut your nails short and prefer open-toe shoes for everyday use. Use a separate clean towel for the feet and wear clean cotton socks. Never share your socks, shoes, and towel with others. Apply an amount sufficient to cover the affected area and 1 inch of the immediate surrounding skin.

Use LT-Mac XL Lotion exactly as directed by your healthcare provider. If you are treating athlete's foot between the toes: apply a thin layer of the medication to affected skin areas and spread it over at least 1 inch of surrounding skin. Apply once daily for 2 weeks. For jock itch or ringworm, similarly apply the medication to affected skin areas and spread it to cover at least 1 inch of surrounding skin. Apply once daily for 1 week. Always wash your hands after applying this medication.
The duration of action varies depending on the ailment: For athlete's foot between the toes, results are typically seen within 4 weeks. In some cases, treatment may require up to 6 weeks. For jock itch and ringworm, a typical response is observed in 3 weeks but it may take up to 4 weeks.
Store LT-Mac XL Lotion in the original container. Keep the container tightly closed and out of reach of children. Store at room temperature (20°C to 25°C), away from light, excessive heat, and moisture (not in the bathroom).
