How it works
Lixflox MS Syrup is a combination of three active ingredients: ofloxacin, metronidazole, and simethicone. Simethicone binds with the gas bubbles produced as a result of the other two ingredients or as a result of some other problem, aiding in the removal of gases and providing relief in stomach pain and bloating.

Diarrhea is a common side effect of this medicine. If it occurs, make sure your child drinks plenty of water. Your child may have an altered taste or furry tongue (coating of Lixflox MS Syrup on tongue) after taking Lixflox MS Syrup. Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Lixflox MS Syrup as these can affect the absorption of the medicine. Never use this medicine for the common cold and flu as they are caused by viruses and Lixflox MS Syrup treats only bacterial infections. Discontinue Lixflox MS Syrup and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing.
