Lezopan D 30mg/40mg Capsule SR is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), dyspepsia (indigestion), and gastritis. It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, thereby relieving symptoms such as heartburn, stomach pain, and irritation. The medicine is a combination of Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid. While effective, it may have side effects and should be used under medical supervision, especially during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Lezopan D 30mg/40mg Capsule SR is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking Lezopan D 30mg/40mg Capsule SR for 14 days. Long-term use can cause weak bones and a deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Ensure adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor. Incorporate lifestyle changes to prevent acidity and heartburn: eat regular meals, drink plenty of water, avoid spicy and fatty fried food, lose weight if obese, quit smoking, limit alcohol intake, and do not go to bed immediately after meals.
