Introduction

Levostat 500 LB Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned. You may have a headache, dizziness, nausea, and bloating as side effects of this medicine. These are usually temporary and resolves on its own, but please consult your doctor if it bothers you or persists for a longer duration.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Levostat 500 LB Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Levostat 500 LB Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levofloxacin and Lactobacillus. Levofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria that cause infections by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing. This treats your infection but may upset your digestive system by killing healthy gut bacteria as well. Lactobacillus is added to restore the balance of healthy bacteria.
