Levokast Tablet is a combination medicine used to alleviate allergic symptoms like runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, watery eyes, and congestion. It also helps reduce inflammation in the airways, making breathing easier. The medicine contains Levocetirizine, an antiallergic that blocks histamine, and Montelukast, a leukotriene antagonist that reduces inflammation by blocking leukotriene. While generally safe, it may cause dizziness, sleepiness, and dry mouth. Consult your doctor for personalized advice.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Levokast Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Levokast Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drink alcohol while taking Levokast Tablet as it may cause increased sleepiness. Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake, and sugarless candy may help. Stop taking Levokast Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
