Levcuff-AG Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of cough with mucus. It thins mucus in the nose, windpipe, and lungs, making it easier to cough out.

Levcuff-AG Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Levcuff-AG Syrup may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Monitor your blood glucose regularly while taking this medicine if you are diabetic. Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease. Stop taking Levcuff-AG Syrup and inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
Levcuff-AG Syrup contains three active ingredients: Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol / Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It is used to treat coughs accompanied by mucus. Ambroxol acts as a mucolytic agent, thinning and loosening the mucus for easier coughing. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles and widens airways. Guaifenesin works as an expectorant, decreasing the stickiness of the mucus and aiding in its removal from the airways.
Levcuff-AG Syrup is generally safe for most patients. However, it can cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, rash, urticaria, tremor, palpitations, muscle cramps and increased heart rate in some patients. If you experience any persistent problems while using this medicine, consult your doctor.
Use of Levcuff-AG Syrup is not recommended in patients with a history of allergy to any of its active or inactive ingredients. Levosalbutamol and beta-blockers like propranolol should not usually be taken together.
Yes, Levcuff-AG Syrup may cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you experience dizziness or lightheadedness, rest for a while and resume only when feeling better. Do not drive or operate machinery.
Yes, Levcuff-AG Syrup can cause diarrhea in some patients. If you experience diarrhea, drink plenty of fluids. In case of prolonged and persistent diarrhea, consult your doctor. Do not take any other medication without consulting your doctor.
Keep this medicine in its original container or packaging, tightly sealed. Store according to the instructions on the package label. Discard unused medicine. Ensure it is not accessible by children, pets and other individuals.
