Lenome 5mg Capsule can be taken with or without food, but try to have it at the same time every day to get the most benefits. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Lenome 5mg Capsule is an anti-cancer medication. It works by enhancing the immune system that indirectly attacks the cancer cells. It prevents the growth of new blood vessels within the tumor. It also restricts the production of chemical messengers (cytokine and growth factor) which are responsible for the growth of cancer cells. This is how it works against cancer.
It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. You may be at risk of developing acute myelogenous leukemia, fatal liver problems, severe skin reactions, and fatal heart problems during treatment with Lenome 5mg Capsule. You should discuss in advance the benefits and risks of taking this medicine.
Lenome 5mg Capsule can be taken with or without food. It's essential to follow your doctor's instructions and take it exactly as prescribed. To avoid crushing, cutting, or chewing the capsules, swallow them whole with water. Try to take Lenome 5mg Capsule at about the same time on the scheduled days.
Yes, Lenome 5mg Capsule can be administered to patients undergoing dialysis. However, your doctor may adjust the dose as needed in these cases.
Lenome 5mg Capsule may cause various side effects including diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, loss of appetite, weight loss, weakness, dizziness, changes in taste, and mouth or tongue discomfort. You might also experience decreased sensitivity to touch, burning sensations in the hands or feet, difficulty sleeping, depression, joint or muscle pain, sweating, dry skin, abnormal hair growth in women, uncontrollable shaking, or decreased sex drive.
People with multiple myeloma who receive melphalan (chemotherapy) and a blood stem cell transplant along with Lenome 5mg Capsule are at higher risk of developing certain cancers, such as acute myelogenous leukemia or AML and Hodgkin lymphoma. Discuss your individual risk with your doctor.
Your doctor will request a blood test before starting treatment and every week for the first eight weeks. You may also be required to continue blood tests at least once a month after your Lenome 5mg Capsule treatment ends.
Women who can become pregnant should use two acceptable forms of birth control for four weeks before starting Lenome 5mg Capsule. Continue using contraceptives during your treatment, including any temporary breaks in medication, and for four weeks after your final dose. Men should also use a latex condom every time they have sexual contact to prevent pregnancy.
