Leerab-XL Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux), intestinal ulcers, and irritable bowel syndrome.

Leerab-XL Capsule is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Leerab-XL Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.
The most common side effects are nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, flatulence, constipation, headache, weakness, and flu-like symptoms.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Leerab-XL Capsule.

Leerab-XL Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Levosulpiride and Rabeprazole.
Do not consume alcohol while taking Leerab-XL Capsule as it can increase the risk of stomach damage. Long-term use may cause weak or broken bones. Take adequate intake of dietary calcium and vitamin D or their supplements. Do not take Leerab-XL Capsule for longer than prescribed.
Take one Leerab-XL capsule daily on an empty stomach, as directed by your physician.
Avoid use of Leerab-XL Capsule in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any components or excipients of the medication.
Some patients may experience dizziness (including feelings of faintness, weakness, unsteadiness, or lightheadedness) while using Leerab-XL Capsule. If you experience dizziness, rest and resume your activities once you feel better.
Studies on adults suggest that treatment with Leerab-XL Capsule may increase the risk of osteoporosis-related fractures in the hip, wrist, or spine. The risk of fracture is higher in patients taking high doses and for prolonged periods (a year or longer). High dose means multiple daily doses, and long-term therapy.
Leerab-XL Capsule may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or visual disturbances. Therefore, refrain from driving or operating machinery until you are certain of its effects on you.
Store Leerab-XL capsule in the original packaging, tightly closed. Follow instructions provided on the pack or label for storage and disposal. Do not consume it by mistake or give it to pets, children, or others.
