Frequently asked questions
Can I give Lecof-A Syrup for a cough with no mucus?
Lecof-A Syrup is specifically designed to treat wet coughs by helping to expel mucus from the airway tract. For dry coughs, cough suppressants are generally more suitable. Before giving your child any medication, it's best to consult their doctor for personalized advice.
What happens if I give my child too much Lecof-A Syrup?
Taking an overdose or prolonging the use of Lecof-A Syrup can lead to serious side effects such as seizures and a rapid heartbeat. To avoid this, always follow the prescribed dosage instructions carefully. Additionally, do not stop giving your child the medication abruptly if they start to feel better, as sudden withdrawal may worsen their condition.
Can I give my child two cough medicines at once?
Unless advised by their doctor, it is not recommended to give a child more than one cough or cold medicine simultaneously. If unsure, always consult with your child's doctor before giving any medication.
Can I give adult cough medicine to my child?
Children should only be given medications specifically formulated for them. Giving adult medicines can lead to unwanted side effects. Always check the label and follow the prescribed dosage instructions carefully before administering any medication to your child.
How should Lecof-A Syrup be stored?
To maintain its effectiveness, store Lecof-A Syrup at room temperature in a dry place away from direct heat and light. Additionally, ensure all medications are kept out of the reach and sight of children to prevent accidental intake.
