Lifestyle changes such as eating more fiber, drinking plenty of fluids, and regular exercise can also help. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, and headache, which are usually mild and temporary. Consult your doctor if you have a bowel blockage, upset stomach, or abnormal bowel movements for more than two weeks.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time, preferably at bedtime.
