How it works
Lavik-M Syrup contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Together these two relieve sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies. Frequently asked questions
Can I combine cough and allergy medications for my child?
No, do not mix cough and allergy medicines because they usually contain similar ingredients. This may result in double dosing of the active components, potentially leading to serious side effects.
Is it safe to decrease the dose of Lavik-M Syrup on my own if my child is feeling better?
No, adhere to the prescribed dose by your child's doctor. Never increase or decrease the dose on your own as this could negatively impact your child’s health. Increasing the dose may cause unwanted effects like sedation and depression, while decreasing it or stopping it abruptly can lead to rebound reversal of all symptoms.
How should Lavik-M Syrup be stored?
Lavik-M Syrup should be stored at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct heat and light. Keep all medications out of reach and sight of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
Does Lavik-M Syrup cause sleepiness in children?

Can I start taking Lavik-M Syrup if my child is about to participate in a sports event in two days?

Can I use Lavik-M Syrup for treating acute asthma attacks in my child?
Lavik-M Syrup is only intended for long-term prevention of asthma attacks, not for stopping an attack that has already begun. Use your child's reliever medication to address an ongoing attack.
