Lansovil 30 Junior Tablet DT is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn. It is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may be seen with the prolonged use of painkillers. This medicine should be taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Lansovil 30 Junior Tablet DT is to be taken empty stomach.

Lansovil 30 Junior Tablet DT belongs to a class of medicines known as proton pump inhibitors. It is used for the treatment of peptic ulcer disease (gastric and duodenal ulcers), reflux esophagitis or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It is also used to treat a disease associated with excessive acid production in the stomach known as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (ZES). It works by reducing the amount of acid made by your stomach.
Your doctor or nurse will show you the correct way of administering Lansovil 30 Junior Tablet DT through the nasogastric (NG) tube. Open the Lansovil 30 Junior Tablet DT capsule and empty the granules into a syringe. Mix the contents with apple juice in the syringe and attach it to the NG tube and give directly into the stomach. Once administered, flush the NG tube with more apple juice to clear the tube.
Lansovil 30 Junior Tablet DT is usually taken once a day, first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. If you take Lansovil 30 Junior Tablet DT twice a day, take 1 dose in the morning and 1 dose in the evening. The tablets should be swallowed whole (remember not be chewed or crushed) and taken at least 1 hour before a meal with some water.
It is recommended to avoid foods that are known to cause acidity and heartburn as these will worsen your condition, for example: fried or spicy food, butter, oil, and juices, caffeinated drinks like cola or tea, drinks from citrus fruits like lemon water or orange juice, and alcohol.
