Lanovic Tablet MD is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn. It is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may be seen with the prolonged use of painkillers. The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep on taking it as prescribed even if your symptoms disappear quickly.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Lanovic Tablet MD is to be taken empty stomach.

Your doctor or nurse will show you how to administer Lanovic Tablet MD through a nasogastric (NG) tube. Open the Lanovic Tablet MD capsule and empty the granules into a syringe. Mix the contents with apple juice in the syringe and attach it to the NG tube, then give directly into the stomach. After administering Lanovic Tablet MD, flush the NG tube with more apple juice to clear the tube.
Lanovic Tablet MD is usually taken once a day, first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. If you take it twice daily, give one dose in the morning and one dose in the evening. Always swallow Lanovic Tablet MD whole, not chewed or crushed, at least 1 hour before a meal with some water.
You might experience symptoms like increased acidity and heartburn from certain food items. It's best to avoid these: fried or spicy food, butter, oil, and juices, caffeinated drinks (like cola or tea), citrus fruit drinks (lemon water or orange juice), and alcohol.
