Lamictin 100mg Tablet DT can be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It may be taken with or without food. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you. Do not stop taking it even if you feel fine unless your doctor advises you to. You may have more seizures or your bipolar disorder may get worse.

Take your medication regularly as directed by your doctor as missing doses can trigger seizures. Make sure that you have sufficient amount of medicine present with you. Practice yoga every day. Get enough sleep at nighttime. Limit the use of screen time such as mobile/laptop. Take your medication on time. It may cause headaches. Drink plenty of water and take a suitable pain killer. Inform your doctor if it does not go away. It may cause skin rash. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice a rash, itching and peeling of skin. Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may increase the frequency of seizure.
There have been reports of severe, life-threatening skin reactions (allergic reactions) developing within 8 weeks of starting Lamictin 100mg Tablet DT in patients who are then hospitalized. These reactions may occur with mild to moderate rash. Therefore, if a patient develops a rash after starting Lamictin 100mg Tablet DT, it should be stopped and not restarted. Using Lamictin 100mg Tablet DT can only be continued if prescribed by a doctor. Use of Lamictin 100mg Tablet DT is stopped even if the rashes are mild and non-serious.
