Short Description

Lactopen Tablet is a lactic acid bacillus tablet that helps in curing colitis, dyspepsia, flatulence, impaired digestion and absorption, and stomatitis by restoring gastrointestinal flora and correcting microfloral disturbances.

Introduction

Lactopen Tablet is a lactic acid bacillus tablet that helps in curing colitis, dyspepsia, flatulence, impaired digestion and absorption, and stomatitis. It is used to treat loose stools (diarrhoea) and ease too much gas in the stomach. It is also indicated in case of digestion problems, Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, Helicobacter pylori infection, which causes stomach ulcers. Lactopen tablets fight against the growth of unwanted bacteria and help in immune system strengthening.

Children (3 years of age and above): Enteric-coated capsules containing Lactobacillus acidophilus 1 tablet daily for the first 2 weeks of therapy; dosage may then be increased up to a maximum of 3 capsules daily if necessary. Adults: 2 tablets 2-4 times daily. Use under medical supervision.
