Introduction

Lactobil BC Oral Suspension is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. You may take this medicine along with oral rehydration solution (ORS) as it will help to provide adequate fluid and electrolyte replacement. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should take this medicine until your doctor tells you to stop. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Lactobil BC Oral Suspension may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Lactobil BC Oral Suspension is a probiotic. It works by restoring the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset after antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Avoid taking Lactobil BC Oral Suspension along with steroids (medications that weaken the immune system) as they might increase the chances of getting sick. Take Lactobil BC Oral Suspension at least 2 hours before or after antibiotics. Notify your doctor if you are pregnant. Notify your doctor if you are breast-feeding.
