Short Description

Lacoron 150mg Tablet is used to control and prevent epilepsy (seizures) by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Introduction

Lacoron 150mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember as it can be life-threatening in some cases. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine as it may increase seizure frequency. Inform your doctor if you have any heart-related problems before starting your treatment with this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lacoron 150mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Lacoron 150mg Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It slowly inactivates the sodium gated channels which decreases the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Thereby it controls seizures or fits.

Take your medication regularly as directed by your doctor as missing doses can trigger seizures. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may increase the seizure frequency. Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts. Talk to your doctor if you have a heart problem that affects your heartbeat. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
