The most common side effects are diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, tiredness, headache, dryness in mouth, and metallic taste. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any side effects. This medicine can also cause sleepiness and dizziness so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness. Lifestyle modifications like having cold milk and avoiding hot tea, coffee, spicy food or chocolate can help you to get better results.

Consuming alcohol while taking L Cot Kit may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Do not take other indigestion remedies (antacids) without consulting your doctor. Do not take L Cot Kit at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines as it may interact with other medicines. Avoid smoking as it increases the risk of peptic ulcers and delays healing. It may take 2 to 8 weeks before you receive the full benefit of taking this medicine.
No, do not stop taking L Cot Kit and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
If you do not experience improvement after completing the full course of L Cot Kit, consult your physician immediately. Inform them about any worsening symptoms you may be experiencing.
