Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Kyfil 60mg Injection is an anti-cancer medication. It works by blocking or slowing the breakdown of proteins in cells. As a result, there is an increase in a number of proteins in the cancer cells leading to their death.
Kyfil 60mg Injection is given as an infusion into the vein (IV infusion) under the supervision of a doctor only. Do not skip any dose and complete the course as suggested by your doctor. Use an effective method of birth control to avoid pregnancy while taking this medication. You may need to have blood tests to monitor your blood cells, platelets count, liver function and kidney function during treatment. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice unusual bruising or bleeding or if you have dark, tarry, or bloody stools and sore throat. Let your doctor know if you notice chest pains, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, dizziness and swelling of feet.
Kyfil 60mg Injection is prescribed for patients with relapsed multiple myeloma (multiple myeloma that has returned) and refractory multiple myeloma (multiple myeloma that no longer responds to treatment). Consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice regarding your specific condition.
Kyfil 60mg Injection is administered intravenously (IV) via a vein. This involves introducing the medication and fluids into the bloodstream through a needle inserted into the vein.
Treatment cycles are typically 4 weeks long, with specific days dedicated to receiving treatment and rest periods. You may receive Kyfil 60mg Injection two days a week for three weeks in the initial cycle, followed by rest for one week in the final cycle. Your doctor will determine the optimal treatment plan based on individual needs.
Nausea and fatigue are common side effects of Kyfil 60mg Injection. Eating smaller, more frequent meals can help with nausea. Avoid salty, spicy, fried, or fatty foods. Additionally, prioritize rest and engage in light physical activity to manage feelings of tiredness.
Kyfil 60mg Injection may temporarily decrease your platelet count, potentially leading to increased susceptibility to infections. It's important to maintain good hygiene practices like frequent handwashing and avoiding contact with people exhibiting cold symptoms.
If you experience shortness of breath, prolonged or excessive bleeding, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), severe headaches, confusion, seizures, or loss of vision, seek immediate medical attention. It's also advisable to contact your doctor if experiencing persistent nausea, extreme fatigue, or other unusual symptoms during treatment.
Kyfil 60mg Injection can harm an unborn baby. Women should use reliable birth control methods throughout treatment and for at least six months after the last dose. Men should also utilize effective contraception during treatment and for three months following the final dose.
This medication can pass into breast milk, potentially harming a nursing baby. It's advised to avoid breastfeeding during treatment and for two weeks after the last dose.
It is important to remain hydrated by increasing your fluid intake while on treatment. Some patients might experience dizziness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until feeling clear-headed. Additionally, use SPF 15 or higher sunblock and protective clothing during daylight hours to prevent rashes.
