Kufril LS Drop is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol, and Guaifenesin. It relieves cough with mucus. Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) making it easier to cough out. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Together they make breathing easier.
Directions for Use
Give the medicine with food along with a glass of water to avoid stomach upset in your child. Practice self-care tips: Give plenty of fluids as it helps to loosen and expel mucus, Avoid giving dairy and caffeinated products, spicy and fried food to your child as all these may irritate the airways and trigger coughing. A teaspoon of honey may also help to ease out a cough reflex. Ask your child to gargle with warm salt water as it eases the expelling of mucus. Ensure your child takes enough rest.
