How it works
Ktrip-Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Trypsin Chymotrypsin which relieve pain and inflammation. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain, fever and inflammation (redness and swelling). Trypsin Chymotrypsin is a combination of enzymes which break down proteins into smaller fragments, thereby making them available for absorption into the blood. Once absorbed, they increase blood supply in the affected area and reduce swelling.

Frequently asked questions
Will taking a higher than the recommended dosage of Ktrip-Plus Tablet be more effective?
No, taking a higher than the recommended dose may not lead to increased effectiveness and could increase the risk of serious side effects. If you experience worsening symptoms that are not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Ktrip-Plus Tablet?
Ktrip-Plus Tablet is contraindicated in patients with known allergies to any components or excipients. The medication should be avoided in patients with a history of peptic ulcers or active/recurring ulcer bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with pre-existing heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.
Does Ktrip-Plus Tablet expire?
Yes, Ktrip-Plus Tablet has an expiry date. Please check the expiry date printed on the packaging before use, and do not use it after the expiry date.
What is Ktrip-Plus Tablet?
Ktrip-Plus Tablet contains a combination of Diclofenac, Trypsin, and Chymotrypsin. This medication helps reduce pain and inflammation by lowering the levels of chemicals in the body that cause these symptoms.
Can I get addicted to Ktrip-Plus Tablet?
No, there is no evidence of addiction associated with Ktrip-Plus Tablet.
Can I stop taking Ktrip-Plus Tablet when my pain is relieved?
Ktrip-Plus Tablet is typically used for short periods and can be discontinued once pain relief is achieved. However, your doctor may advise continued use in specific cases.
Can the use of Ktrip-Plus Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, some individuals experience dizziness (fainting, weakness, unsteadiness, or lightheadedness) after taking Ktrip-Plus Tablet. If you experience these symptoms, stop all activities and sit or lie down until they subside. Avoid driving or operating machinery.
Can the use of Ktrip-Plus Tablet cause kidney damage?
Long-term use of Ktrip-Plus Tablet can potentially lead to kidney damage. This is due to prostaglandins, a protective chemical produced by normal kidneys, being lowered by pain relievers. Prostaglandin reduction over time leads to increased risk of kidney damage. In patients with pre-existing kidney disease, the use of painkillers should be carefully considered and avoided.
How long will Ktrip-Plus Tablet take to act?
It may take about an hour for the initial pain relief benefits of Ktrip-Plus Tablet to become noticeable.
What if I forget to take Ktrip-Plus Tablet?
If you miss a scheduled dose of Ktrip-Plus Tablet, skip that missed dose and continue with your regular dosage schedule. If it's almost time for your next dose, simply take the next scheduled dose as usual. Never try to make up for a missed dose by taking an extra dose.
