How it works
Krimfre Oral Suspension is a mixture of two medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose) thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die thereby treating your child's infection effectively.
Quick Tips
Do not share your child's medicines with others and do not give anyone else's medicine to your child. Worm infections are easily spread between family members. Your doctor may recommend treatment for all family members on the same day whether or not they have any symptoms of infection. Some self-care tips: Do not give raw or undercooked food to your child. Always give a balanced diet containing herbs, fruits, and spices of therapeutic value. Encourage your child to wash their hands with soap and water every time they use the toilet as that will help prevent cross-infection. Trim your child's nails frequently to disable any source of worm infection. Maintain a neat space and hygiene around your child. Call your child's doctor right away if the child exhibits signs of allergic reaction like rash, itching, or any other sign of infection such as fever, gum-bleeding, black or red stools, and blood in urine or vomit. This medicine is known to elevate the levels of liver enzymes. So do not delay connecting with your child's doctor in case your child exhibits any signs of a liver problem like dark urine, tiredness, upset stomach, light-colored stools, or yellow skin or eyes.

Frequently asked questions
How can I identify if my child has a worm infection?
If your child is experiencing symptoms such as an itchy bottom, difficulty sitting, fatigue, restless sleep due to anal itching, and persistent stomach pain with loss of appetite or frequent indigestion, it could be a sign of a worm infection. Additionally, pica, where your child eats inedible substances like mud, may also be a sign. Consult your child's doctor as soon as you notice any of these symptoms. The doctor may recommend collecting your child's stool and blood samples on three different days for examination, and will then decide on the appropriate treatment and prescribe medication accordingly.
What is the best time to give Krimfre Oral Suspension to my child?
Krimfre Oral Suspension can be given at any time of the day, but it is recommended to administer it with a fat-containing food, such as milk.
How can my child become infected with intestinal worms?
Intestinal worms can be contracted through contact with contaminated soil, which may be found in areas with poor sanitation. Your child may also become infected by playing in contaminated soil and then not washing their hands properly. Additionally, drinking contaminated water or eating contaminated fruits and vegetables without proper washing or peeling can also lead to infection.
How should I store my child's medicine?
Store Krimfre Oral Suspension at room temperature in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children and pets, to avoid accidental intake. Do not freeze the medicine.
When should I contact my child's doctor immediately?
Seek immediate medical attention if your child experiences symptoms such as vision problems, puffy eyes, severe itching all over the body, trouble walking or standing, trouble breathing, fast heart rate, disorientation, confusion, loss of bowel control, or neck pain soon after taking Krimfre Oral Suspension.
