It helps to prevent the reoccurrence of kidney stones, rises up the urinary pH, and helps to excrete out the excess citrate from the body. It is effective in reducing the recurrence of calcium oxalate and phosphate urolithiasis, and shows significant and sustained rises in urinary pH and citrate and potassium levels.
